Kenny Chesney was born on March 26, 1968 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Raised in a nearby town called Luttrell, Chesney chose to attend East Tennessee State in Johnson City. During this time, Chesney recorded several songs that he performed at local shows and was encouraged to sell the albums afterward. As soon as he made enough money to purchase a new guitar, Chesney knew he had something going.

After a year of traveling and playing local shows, Chesney finally got his big break with RCA's Joe Galante. Over the course of the next few years, Chesney's albums would sell hundreds of thousands of albums, go gold and platinum and draw in a huge fan base.

Chesney's hits include "The Good Stuff," "Young," "Who You'd Be Today," "Beer in Mexico," "You Save Me" and more! Recently, Chesney celebrated his milestone of selling over 25 million albums as well as winning his second Country Music Awards entertainer trophy .
